Taylor Hawkins

Taylor Hawkins, one of the best drummers on the planet, taken far too soon. God bless you, rest in peace.

EVH Amps / Cabs

To all fellow guitar players out there, I’ve been using the EVH 5150lll amps and cabs for quite some time now and highly recommend this gear. I’ve been using a combination of the EVH 5150lll Stealth amps with the EVH 5150lll EL34 amps and 4x12 cabs. These amps are incredibly versatile and sound amazing!

Anyone who knows me knows that I am very picky when it comes to my guitar tone and do not recommend or endorse equipment that I do not use. Check these amps out and I’m sure you’ll love them as much as I do.

Update

Dear John Sykes fans. We regret to announce that our partnership with Golden Robot Records has ceased.

Unfortunately after the signing, contractual agreements were unfulfilled by Golden Robot Records and there was little attempt to move things forward despite our best efforts and patience. When written contracts revert to unfulfilled verbal promises all integrity in a company becomes lost. We simply cannot work this way.

We want the fans to understand that we are fully aware of the frustration this will cause. We now feel that the best course of action is to release the album under our own control.

John Sykes accepts award on behalf of Bob Daisley

John was invited to accept an award on behalf of his good friend Bob Daisley and his induction into the Hall of Heavy Metal History. Bob's contribution to the music world is legendary, working with the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Gary Moore, Uriah Heep, Black Sabbath and even more recently with John himself on a tribute to Gary Moore with 'Still Got The Blues'. The awards show was fronted by John's good friend and Rock radio personality Eddie Trunk.

Facebook Profile

Recently a Facebook user decided to make a profile page under the name of John Sykes and proceed to impersonate John. We can confirm that John DOES NOT have his own personal profile account on social media. The only social media pages linked to John Sykes are the Official Facebook page linked from this website and an associated Twitter page. Both of these pages are run by an admin on behalf of John as a news feed with the occasional message from John himself.

There are many great tribute pages on social media that do a great job at posting John's history and keeping the fans engaged on a daily basis, they do not impersonate John and always clear up any confusion. We encourage you to check these out.

Any recent news or important updates will always come from the official page first and any of John's associated record labels.
